The plaintiffs in this §1983 federal civil action sued state law enforcement officers for Fourth Amendment violations alleging the defendants omitted exculpatory information from arrest warrant affidavits that led to the arrest of plaintiffs. The 11th Circuit granted qualified immunity to the defendants, explaining that even if the exculpatory information had been included there still would have been sufficient probable cause to issue the arrest warrants which would make the arrests constitutional thereby extinguishing any malicious prosecution claim.
