United States v. Street 7thCIR 01MAR2019

The defendant in this case argued the officers who stopped him did so only because of his race. The court disagreed, holding that the defendant was “one of only a handful” of African Americans at the scene shortly after the crime occurred and the perpetrators had been described as African Americans. There was a host of facts to legally justify the stop.
