The Eleventh Circuit affirmed the defendant’s convictions for distributing fentanyl counterfeited as oxycodone pills that caused the death of a 34-year-old woman. The court held that the defendant voluntarily consented to the search of his bags at the airport and the District Court properly denied the motion to suppress where the defendant was not in custody and consent was not coerced by a ruse that did not claim false authority.
