Police Legal Advisor Training Program (PLATP)

This four-day course presents a comprehensive look at the legal aspects of law enforcement important to police legal advisors. The course fee is $950. Certification for thirty-two hours of CLE (including four hours of ethics and two hours of anti-bias training) has been requested from the Florida Bar and will be sought from other state bar associations upon request. Although this course is designed for Police Legal Advisors, it also provides an outstanding review of the law important to state and federal prosecutors as well as Police Academy Instructors and Law Enforcement Training Supervisors.
A limited number of rooms are being made available at a special discounted group rate of $141 per night. Reservation information, including a special group reservation link, will be provided upon registration. The cut-off date for room reservations is April 11, 2022.
