This course presents a comprehensive “deep-dive” into the legal aspects of the use of force including societal pressures on the Reasonable Officer standard. This course is the only one of its kind that includes Colorado-specific statutes and case law.
The cost of this course is $150 per seat. The class size is strictly limited to only 40 seats!

The historical and present development of the law governing the use of force by law enforcement officers.
The concept and fallacies of the Reasonable Officer standard.
Determining the legal requirements for different degrees of force.
The “range of reasonableness.”
