Poppi Ritacco

Poppi Ritacco, JD

Prior to becoming a LEA faculty member, Poppi Ritacco was a Senior Instructor with the Legal Division at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center from 2009 to 2013.  Poppi quickly became an indispensable FLETC Instructor who was often requested by name to conduct advanced training for state and federal law enforcement agencies across the country.

Poppi brings significant state and federal prosecutor experience to bear on LEA curriculum development and course delivery.  From 2007 to 2009 Poppi worked as an Assistant Attorney General in Washington D.C.  Prior to that, Poppi served as an Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007.

Poppi is a graduate of Carleton College (B.A.) and the Harvard Law School (J.D.).  Poppi received Instructor Certification through the Law Enforcement Instructor Training Program (LEITP) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers.
